17-0 Game FAQ.
What is the 17-0 game?+
A free browser game where a slot machine spins to a random NFL team-era, you draft seven legends one at a time, and our engine simulates a 17-game NFL regular season. Going 17-0 is the only perfect grade.
Why 17-0?+
The NFL regular season is 17 games. Going 17-0 has never happened in modern NFL history. The 1972 Dolphins (the only perfect season ever) did it in 14 games. The 17-0 game lets you chase the unfinished record.
What's the daily challenge?+
Every day everyone gets the same theme — a constraint on the team-era pool. AFC East only, 1990s only, today's active stars only — 13 themes rotate. Resets at midnight ET. Pure Wordle social mechanic.
How are results calculated?+
Every legend has an era-normalized rating 0-100. Your final roster rating drives a logistic per-game win probability against league-average opponents. A seeded RNG narrates each of 17 weeks — same seed, same result, so shared links replay deterministically.
Is the 17-0 game affiliated with the NFL?+
No. This is an independent fan project. NFL team names and player names appear under nominative fair use for identification only.
Why don't share cards reveal who I picked?+
On purpose. The share grid is spoiler-free — colored squares show roster quality per slot, but not which legends. Friends see your grade and want to beat it without you ruining their picks. Wordle-style.
